The Reasons to Indulge in this Healthy Treat
- High in Protein
One of the primary benefits of this yogurt bark is that it is high in protein. You can even increase the protein by using Greek-style yogurt. Protein is an essential nutrient that is vital for building and repairing tissues in the body. It is also important for building muscle mass and maintaining a healthy weight.
- Good Source of Fiber & Probiotics
In addition to being high in protein, yogurt bark mixed with chia seeds, flax seeds, protein powder, nuts, seeds, and berries is also a good source of fiber. Fiber is important for maintaining healthy digestion, keeping you full and satisfied, and reducing the risk of diseases such as heart disease and diabetes. Yogurt contains natural probiotics which help maintain a healthy microbiome and the balance of good and bacteria in the gut.
- Packed with Nutrients
Chia seeds, flax seeds, nuts, and berries are all rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, essential for maintaining optimal health and preventing disease.
