Chicken Bone Broth is something I now make regularly. If you’ve done any of my programs, including 30 Days to Feeling Fabulous and/or a detox, you’ll always find bone broth on the menu. Not only is it nourishing, but it’s also comforting and provides many health benefits. Of course, you can always buy broth, but nothing beats my homemade crockpot chicken bone broth! I think you will find that this recipe is incredibly easy to make and well worth the wait!
Why Consume our Homemade Crockpot Chicken Bone Broth?
Benefits of consuming bone broth are many and include:
Reduced inflammation
Joint pain and relief from arthritis: The collagen, glutamine, and other compounds obtained from simmering the bones for a length of time releases.
Boost to the immune system
Believed to be from the amino acids produced in the process and their reduction of inflammation in the respiratory system.
Good for digestion
It’s easy to digest and the collagen helps protect the gut lining.
Healthy skin
This is again thanks to the collagen content that helps boost skin elasticity.
